Staff Mobility for Teaching

Staff Mobility for Teaching means that a staff member who is obliged to teach at a higher education institution holding an ECHE in Turkey can work at a higher education institution holding an ECHE in one of the EU member countries or countries related to the Programme; It is a field of activity that allows to teach at a higher education institution that is recognized as a higher education institution by the competent institutions of the relevant country and with which an Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement has been signed, and to carry out academic/educational activities jointly with the other institution regarding teaching.

 

In order for the activity to be considered a valid activity, it is mandatory to give at least 8 lesson hours.

 

Selection process in staff mobility activity; It is a process consisting of announcement, application intake and evaluation.

 

The grant given to staff who will benefit from staff mobility is a contribution, and the grant is not intended to cover all expenses related to the period spent abroad.

*80% of the grant is paid at the beginning of mobility. 20% of the grant is paid after the return documents are completed.

 

Travel Expense Calculations

The amount of travel expenses to be paid to staff benefiting from staff mobility activities should be calculated using the “Distance Calculator”. The distance calculator can be accessed from the link below:

It is calculated as a round-trip grant and added to the daily grant amount.

  • Acceptance Letter
  • Staff Mobility for Teaching – Mobility Agreement
  • Visa declaration (or green passport declaration) / *We kindly request that the personnel who will apply for a visa inform the Erasmus Office of their visa appointment dates.
  • Grant agreement (between institution and staff) / Please, contact with the Erasmus Office.
